The sea comes into the room In three gestures
A Sardinian-inspired seafood restaurant in the heart of Milan. The work touched neither walls nor floors: it focused on three elements that tell of the sea, clad with metallic 3M DI-NOC finishes, to give the room a warm, consistent and recognisable identity.
The first gesture
Panels that
move like waves
A series of decorative panels with undulating shapes defines the space with a rhythm that recalls the sea. Every curve was clad without interruption, so that light glides over the surface as over water.

The reception desk
from white to gold
The curved desk at the entrance was not replaced: the existing surface was clad on site with the ME-1997 metallic finish, which follows the profile without joints. Drag the slider to see the transformation.

The arch reveals, the distinctive feature of the venue, were clad with the same finish: the checkout niche and the passages between the rooms become luminous frames that guide the eye.

Work
The curved desk was refurbished by cladding the existing surface with the ME-1997 metallic finish. The installation follows the profile without breaking its continuity and turns the desk into the luminous focal point of the restaurant.
